Questions like how much pension amount is going to release ? Who is going to distribute the pension amount and Is taking the new pension passbook compulsory.
Telugu Desam Party and NDA alliance has mentioned in their manifesto that it would increase pension amount to Rs 4000 from the month of April. So the government should deposit Rs 7000 to the pension receiver. Which includes Rs  4000 of July and arrears of Rs 1000 of April, May, June which total of Rs 7000. The AP government also did not clarify who is going to give pension whether it is deposited in Bank accounts or distributed by the village Volunteers or any residing Officers. Before Loksabha elections the pension was distributed by the village Volunteers. During the elections notice period it is distributed by residing Officers. Every pension receiver gets a pension passbook to make a proof of receiving pension every month.
