AP NTR Bharosa scheme was introduced in the year 2013 in Andhra Pradesh by the ruling government Telugu Desam Party. It was named After Nandamuri Taraka Ratna, TDP party founder and Ex-chief minister of Andhra Pradesh. Later, this pension scheme name was changed to YSR pension by the YSRCP party in 2019.
