Andhrapradesh Ration Card Latest Update : For the last 5 years people of Andhra Pradesh have been waiting for a new ration card. Newly married couples and other families are waiting for new ration cards and changes in the current ration card.
Many applications are pending for the last five years for correction, updates and adding of new family members. Nearly 80,000 applications are pending in the YSRCP government. The past government has not taken a step forward in the ration card sector. The newly TDP alliance government has above to start applications for new ration cards from August last week onwards. At present they are 1, 379 ration card centers. Newly 200 to 300 ration card centers are to be implemented all over the state for ration distribution to people as soon as possible.
They are 5,43,263 cards at present in which only 4,97,247 are BPL cards. Remaining 46,016 cards are subsides cards.From 5,43,263 cards nearly 60 to 70 thousand families are taking ration from last siz months which can be cancelled by the government.
Instructions have been released for new ration cards application on the official website. Adding new members into existing cards, new ration cards, any other corrections and all updates applications are releasing within 10 days.
