Before the Loksabha elections in 2024, there were 3 lakhs+ volunteers in the state. During the time of elections, many volunteers in the state have resigned from their posts. Nearly 1,26,659 members have resigned from their volunteer jobs, At present they are 108000 volunteer posts vacant. To fulfill these posts, The New Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has released a notification for Volunteers post vacancies. The rules and guidelines for the newly appointed Volunteers will be changed accordingly. Changes may occur in the salary of the Volunteer, working days, and allocation of houses. The new rules and guidelines are also for the present working volunteers.
