Brief Explanation of AP Deepam Scheme
The new AP government formed the TDP party and NDA alliance. The TDP party manifesto includes Super Six Schemes which surrounds all age groups in the state. As a part of Super Six, AP Deepam Scheme is one of the Maha Shakti schemes. To minimize the burden of growing prices of gas cylinders AP government started AP Deepam Scheme. AP government to offer every house with lights and happiness this scheme was introduced. It yearly gives 3 free gas cylinders once every 4 months to every domestic gas consumer.
Objectives of AP Deepam Scheme
1. To remove the burden of gas Gas cylinder prices for the people in the state.
2. To help the middle class and BPL families financial burden of gas cylinders.
3. Provide households with a valid domestic gas connection.
4. For growth and development of the State.
Eligibility Criteria for AP Deepam Scheme
1. The consumer must be a permanent resident of the state.
2. BPL card holders are eligible for the Deepam Scheme.
3. Only one domestic gas connection consumer from a single person in a family is eligible for this scheme.
4. Only one gas connection from one family is applicable.
5. Only Domestic gas consumers are eligible for this scheme.
